Depending on the local council who will be providing your Skip Permit or Licence, permits are generally granted for 14 or 28 days. Most councils are however more than happy to allow for this initial period to be extended (for an additional fee), so we would recommend that you contact them in advance if you need more time. Please note that the onus is on yourself, as if you keep a skip for longer than the timeframe allowed by your permit, you may be liable for a fine.
What happens if my skip is on the road without a permit
